As sustainability enthusiasts, we're always looking for ways to lower our footprint. These earrings fit perfectly with our mission, as we did not purchase any new beads for these - they were designed using the remnants of donated broken/discarded jewelry.  The earwires are nickel free .999 fine silver plated brass and the beads are a rainbow of pastel colors, made from a variety of different materials, pulled from across the years. These earrings measure approximately 1.5" long.

Our Remnants collection includes salvaged, reclaimed and vintage beads. We regularly receive donated beads from other people's broken jewelry and/or bead collections. We're so happy to have the opportunity to keep our footprint lower by not purchasing new beads, to prevent these items from going to the landfill, and to repurpose these pieces into something fresh and new,

We pair these beads with high-quality ear wires so that your jewelry will last longer. And if you ever decide that you've had your jewelry long enough, you can send it back to us and we'll recycle it again!

Due to the handmade nature of these earrings and the materials used to create them, slight differences should be expected from pair to pair, and from the image shown to illustrate the earrings. Colors may look different in person than they appear on screen. This listing is for one pair of earrings, only. All other photos are included for size and material reference.

Silver Rainbow Pastel Drop Earrings

Color: rainbow
  • These are considered costume jewelry and should be kept in dry areas when not being worn (so don't keep them in the bathroom or kitchen, don't go swimming in them, don't wear them while dancing in the rain, etc.). Spraying chemicals on or near costume jewelry may speed up the "antiquing" of metal - for instance, perfumes, hair spray, make-up setting sprays.

A portion of our proceeds are donated to environmental conservation efforts. We donate a minimum of $1,000 per year to Ocean Conservancy as part of their Business Champions for Sea Change Program. We also donate $1 to Mangrove Action Project for each package we ship. The sale of these pieces also helps to fund the direct clean-up of thousands of pieces and pounds of plastic trash, as well as helping to fund environmental education efforts.

Please see our page on sustainability for information on how you can return your old or worn out Hey Lola jewelry to us for recycling.
