My intention was to write this Sunday, but…true story…my husband and I went kayaking, we got out at the wrong spot in the river, but didn’t realize that until we had hiked (while pulling kayaks) to the spot where our car should have been (but wasn’t)…and realized we were in the middle of nowhere. So basically we stranded ourselves. Thankfully we have kind and generous friends who drove far out of their way to come rescue us. But our adventure did put us about 4 hours off of our original schedule, so I wasn’t really up for writing by the time we came home. However, it was a lovely day on the river and I did make some nature art while we were stuck!
