When we moved into our previous studio space, there were old wires everywhere. We've been using these wires in an assortment of sculpture and jewelry projects ever since, including these sparkly "e-waste" earrings( e-waste is electronic waste). We're happy to have found such a sparkly use for some of it!

Due to the handmade nature of our products and the materials used to create them, there may be slight differences between the products and the images used to depict them. While we strive to use photos of the exact object you will receive, we may not always be able to do that when there are multiple versions of the same item. Colors may look different in person than they appear on screen. This listing is for the item listed in the title, only. Any other photos are included for size and material reference.
The trash plastics (plastic pigment) in Hey Lola products come from beach plastic, street plastic, donated plastics and leftover bits from my other recycled plastic jewelry and/or sculptures. In many cases, there is no current method of recycling these plastics via traditional means. All plastics are cleaned and sanitized before use. When a binding agent is needed to hold the plastics together, we use a plant based bio resin.
We pair the plastics with high quality ear wires so that your jewelry will last longer.
And if you ever decide that you've had your item long enough, you can pop it in an envelope and send it back to us - we'll recycle it again!
