Every year I promise myself that I'll restart my blog and write more, and every year I fail to keep that promise. Listen. I'm really good at failing, but I'm also SO good at trying again, trying harder, trying different.
So I'm trying again and I'm trying different. This time around I'll be working with a little more structure, choosing some topics ahead of time, trying to find the reason why I'm writing before I just start uselessly word vomiting all over the page. And this blog will also be a companion to the podcast that I just started a couple of weeks ago. see? I'm already working differently!
Why now? What changed?
In August of 2021 I was diagnosed with cancer, and while getting cancer definitely sucks, I'm glad I can walk away with a different perspective and plan for my life. I have learned SO much in the two years since my diagnosis and I just want to share every bit of it. Small business mistakes and triumphs? I have them. Accounting and hiring help? Let me tell you what I've learned. How to turn a garbage life into something amazing? I DID THAT! And I can't wait to share it all with you, so I hope you come back, and I hope we can grow better together. Until next time,
