Shimmery pink...trash. I combined pieces of a deflated throw away pool toy, electrical waste, and thrown away tinsel hair extensions with a plant based bio resin to make these sparkly earrings. They're very cute and fun, but also carry a message: Where does our stuff go when we throw it away? How can we do better?
Approximate Measurements: 6mm circle
Ear wire Metal: hypoallergenic, nickel-free stainless steel post
Material: pink pool toy, e-waste, tinsel hair extensions
Shape/Style: 6mm circle

These are considered costume jewelry and should be kept in dry areas when not being worn (so don't keep them in the bathroom or kitchen, don't go swimming in them, don't wear them while dancing in the rain, etc.). Spraying chemicals on or near costume jewelry may speed up the "antiquing" of metal - for instance, perfumes, hair spray, make-up setting sprays.
When not worn, pieces should be stored in a dark, cool place, away from light and air exposure. Hair spray, perfume, etc should be applied and allowed to dry before putting on jewelry. These are not out of the ordinary storage solutions, but rather, best practices for all jewelry pieces.
