 These are considered costume jewelry and should be kept in dry areas when not being worn (so don't keep them in the bathroom or kitchen, don't go swimming in them, don't wear them while dancing in the rain, etc.). Spraying chemicals on or near costume jewelry may speed up the "antiquing" of metal - for instance, perfumes, hair spray, make-up setting sprays.

When not worn, pieces should be stored in a dark, cool place, away from light and air exposure. Hair spray, perfume, etc should be applied and allowed to dry before putting on jewelry. These are not out of the ordinary storage solutions, but rather, best practices for all jewelry pieces.

 A portion of our proceeds are donated to environmental conservation efforts. We donate a minimum of $1,000 per year to Ocean Conservancy as part of their Business Champions for Sea Change Program. The sale of our pieces also helps to fund the direct clean-up of thousands of pieces and pounds of plastic trash, as well as helping to fund environmental education and humanitarian efforts with our local unhoused population.

 Items ship out within 10 days of purchase. Our items are carefully packaged using mostly recycled materials - if you find plastic bags and/or styrofoam in your order, please rest assured that those pieces are reclaimed "trash." We do not purchase new styrofoam, cardboard, shredded paper or plastic for our shipping materials - it's almost entirely reclaimed and processed by us. In the event that we do purchase paper supplies (such as wrapping paper or streamers), we purchase them secondhand from thrift stores. We do use new paper packing tape, stickers, and occasionally some plastic packing tape for box reinforcement. All of our sticker paper is then recycled back into art pieces.

International shipping starts at $15 and is calculated by location at check-out. While we are excited about being able to offer international shipping, we know that once a package leaves our country, it's completely out of our hands. Please keep that in mind when ordering. All international orders are final.

Damaged product in transit? Please email images within 10 days of receiving your product. If it was damaged in transit this timeframe allows us to initiate investigations with our carriers. All items are unique, so there may not be a direct replacement available.

Worried you won’t like it as much in person? We want you to be happy and want you to love what you ordered as much as we loved making it. We encourage you to message us with questions before ordering the product so that you can be sure of your decision. As a small business focused on sustainability (in every sense of the word), we not only discourage “buy and try” orders, but we unfortunately can’t accept these types of returns. So please ask questions - we don’t mind, we promise! We cannot accept returns without prior approval. In addition, because many of our items are one of a kind and/or limited edition, all sales are considered final.
