Approximate Measurements: earring length: 1.5"
Earwire: gold fill
Material: flowers made from water bottle lids and 24k gold plated brass headpins (nickel free)
Shape/Style: drop earrings with three pendant flowers
Color(s): semi-translucent, ethereal white and goldThe delicate flowers on these artist-made recycled earrings are each cut and formed by hand from discarded water bottle caps. I regularly find water bottle lids on my clean-ups, and sadly, I have plenty of these in supply. Each lid is hand-cut and hand-formed into an upcycled flower pendant, before being assembled together on gold-plated jump rings and gold-filled earwires
Because of the labor-intensive process of this work and the uncertainty regarding the sourcing of materials, these earrings are made in small batches and have limited availability.
Recycled White and Gold Earrings - Mini Water Bottle Flower Drops in Gold
Due to the handmade nature of our products and the materials used to create them, there may be slight differences between the products and the images used to depict them. While we strive to use photos of the exact object you will receive, we may not always be able to do that when there are multiple versions of the same item. Colors may look different in person than they appear on screen. This listing is for the item listed in the title, only. Any other photos are included for size and material reference.
The trash plastics (plastic pigment) in Hey Lola products come from beach plastic, street plastic, donated plastics and leftover bits from my other recycled plastic jewelry and/or sculptures. In many cases, there is no current method of recycling these plastics via traditional means. All plastics are cleaned and sanitized before use. When a binding agent is needed to hold the plastics together, we use a plant based bio resin.
We pair the plastics with high quality ear wires so that your jewelry will last longer.
And if you ever decide that you've had your item long enough, you can pop it in an envelope and send it back to us - we'll recycle it again!
