The delicate, white, semi-translucent flowers on these earrings were made from water bottle lids. I regularly find water bottle lids on my clean-ups and sadly, I have plenty of these in supply. The "petals" hang on .999 fine silver plated, nickel free, brass ear wires.
In many cases, there is no current method of recycling the plastics I use via traditional means. The plastics used for these earrings are currently not recyclable where I live. All plastics are cleaned and sanitized before use.
Due to the handmade nature of these earrings and the materials used to create them, slight differences should be expected from pair to pair, and from the image shown to illustrate the earrings. Earwires are 24 k gold plated brass or .999 silver plated brass.
Water Bottle White Translucent Silver Drop Earrings
These are considered costume jewelry and should be kept in dry areas when not being worn (so don't keep them in the bathroom or kitchen, don't go swimming in them, don't wear them while dancing in the rain, etc.). Spraying chemicals on or near costume jewelry may speed up the "antiquing" of metal - for instance, perfumes, hair spray, make-up setting sprays.
