These earrings used to be straws.
Found on beaches and roadsides, collected from people who didn't want to see them end up in a landfill - cleaned, cut, and coaxed into something that looks like a garden exploded, but in the best possible way.
Each flower petal is hand-cut from a reclaimed straw. Bright and soft at the same time — pink, cornflower blue, lavender, and gold, layered on a delicate gold-filled hoop.
In the light, the petals almost glow.
People will ask you about them.
I promise.
Sales from these earrings help fund local clean-ups and environmental education. So you're not just wearing something beautiful — you're part of the story.
Made in small batches. Limited availability. Because the materials depend on what I find, no two batches are exactly alike.

These are considered costume jewelry and should be kept in dry areas when not being worn (so don't keep them in the bathroom or kitchen, don't go swimming in them, don't wear them while dancing in the rain, etc.). Spraying chemicals on or near costume jewelry may speed up the "antiquing" of metal - for instance, perfumes, hair spray, make-up setting sprays.
When not worn, pieces should be stored in a dark, cool place, away from light and air exposure. Hair spray, perfume, etc should be applied and allowed to dry before putting on jewelry. These are not out of the ordinary storage solutions, but rather, best practices for all jewelry pieces.
