I've been making trash pigment mixes and naming them as though they're stones - once upon a time I thought I might have one for every month of the year. Like a birthstone...but a trash stone.  This mix is called "Rosy Kidstone" and is made with abandoned children's beach toys, ice cream spoons, and discarded party tinsel.
 
These earrings come on gold-filled earwires and measure approximately 1" long.
 
Metals other than earwires are plated nickel-free with 24k gold.  A secondary process of oxidization provides the aged look to the metals.
