Sand-colored beach plastics are combined with blue soda bottle plastics and other traditionally unrecyclable plastics, then bound with a plant-based bio-resin to create this ocean-inspired pendant. The pendant measures approximately .75" in diameter and comes on an 18" gold-filled chain.
My work is inspired by my love for nature, so clean-ups, home waste management education, and conservation are a very big part of my artistic process.

These are considered costume jewelry and should be kept in dry areas when not being worn (so don't keep them in the bathroom or kitchen, don't go swimming in them, don't wear them while dancing in the rain, etc.). Spraying chemicals on or near costume jewelry may speed up the "antiquing" of metal - for instance, perfumes, hair spray, make-up setting sprays.
When not worn, pieces should be stored in a dark, cool place, away from light and air exposure. Hair spray, perfume, etc should be applied and allowed to dry before putting on jewelry. These are not out of the ordinary storage solutions, but rather, best practices for all jewelry pieces.
