I inherited a giant collection of beads from a local jeweler who decided to retire their collection. I immediately fell in love with these faceted turquoise/teal glass beads. Reminiscent of sea glass and vacation waters, they're pretty enough to be the single focal point for these gold hoop earrings.
My reclaimed bead collection includes salvaged, reclaimed and vintage beads. I regularly receive donated beads from other people's broken jewelry and/or bead collections. I'm so happy to have the opportunity to keep my footprint lower by not purchasing new beads, to prevent these items from going to the landfill, and to repurpose these pieces into something fresh and new.
