I view the world through jellyfish.
Which makes sense if you know me.
They bring me comfort.
This is a self-portrait.
I created this when half of my face was paralyzed due to Bell's Palsy.
I hated looking in the mirror, and I didn't know if it was ever going to get better, so I just started painting pictures of my face, covering the paralyzed side with everything I loved.
Like jellyfish.
And coral.
And happy little puffers.
My face is better now.
