These pretty cloud earrings have as much love and effort as some of my larger and showier pieces - they're just a subtle statement, instead of a big "HERE I AM!" Inspired by days in the garden spent daydreaming while staring at clouds, these 35 mm white gold-filled (looks silver) hoops are covered in handmade, ethereal, and translucent clouds.
 
As a sustainability enthusiast, I'm always looking for ways to lower my footprint. These earrings fit perfectly with my mission, as they're made with #6 single-use plastic lids, an item that can't be recycled where I live, and has no real secondary purpose.
 
I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to reduce my environmental footprint by finding new ways to use single-use post-consumer plastic items that can't be recycled, preventing them from going to the landfill, and repurposing these pieces into something fresh and new. Creating in this manner also allows me to continue to create unique and limited-edition pieces.
